Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, embark on a 7-8 hour journey through the Kampala-Masaka Highway. Stop at the Uganda Equator crossing in Kayabwe for photos and experiments, followed by a delicious meal at Igongo Cultural Centre, where you can tour the Erijukiro Museum. Continue through the scenic lands of Mbarara and Bushenyi before arriving at Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Trip
Start early with a 6:30 am game drive, catching lions and leopards returning from hunts. Drive through Kasenyi and other savannah plains, encountering elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, and various birds like the Martial eagle. After lunch, take a boat trip along Kazinga Channel, where Nile crocodiles, hippos, and a wealth of birds, including the African fish eagle and pink-backed pelican, await. In the evening, enjoy a brief game drive to spot nocturnal animals.
Day 3: Lake Katwe and Return to Kampala
After breakfast, visit Kasenyi’s fishing villages and Lake Katwe to observe salt extraction methods. Begin the journey back, stopping for lunch in Mbarara. Pass by Lake Mburo National Park and Ankole cattle grazing before arriving in Kampala or Entebbe.
